Our Mission

Huduma House aspires to promote better self-understanding, reduce isolation and self-doubt, and develop independent living skills among participants through therapeutic behavioral health services in the safety and privacy of our facility.

Our Vision

The goal of Huduma House is to provide patients with behavioral health issues the appropriate support and guidance necessary for the management of their behavioral health and overall well-being. We endeavor to allow them to feel comfortable to speak up and express themselves to help them better understand their condition.

About Huduma House

Huduma House is designated as a Behavioral Health participantial Facility by the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Huduma House is a facility that provides a conducive environment and comprehensive support services for participants with behavioral health issues who may also have a history of serious mental illness (SMI) or have completed any mandated incarceration and/or hospital treatment and have been reckoned as not a danger to the community or themselves.

Huduma House provides guidance, screening, and access to therapeutic and support services for participants with co-occurring disorders of substance abuse and/or addiction. Our Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) assist patients in advancing their treatment plans in a vibrant and welcoming environment, as well as monitoring their daily activities, response to therapy, and allowing them to learn life-long learning and skills.

Population Served

Huduma House serves diverse individuals aged 18 and above with mental health condition/s.

Program Goals

  • To provide each participant with a clean, safe, and conducive living environment, including food preparation facilities, and convenient access to treatment services.
  • To guide participants towards independence and personal responsibility.
  • To help participants develop interpersonal skills necessary for community re-integration as responsible individuals.
  • To teach participants various social skills, including personal hygiene, financial management, and assertively communicate needs to the appropriate resources.
  • To help and monitor self-administration of medication of participants.
  • To offer participants an opportunity to live and function responsibly in the community while following their specific court-ordered terms, if any.

Administrative Hours

Administration hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Huduma House provides behavioral health services 24/7: 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Behavioral Health Technician(s) (BHTs) will be staffed 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
